Call for Programs

Have a great peer education program you want to share?
Have you recently conducted research that others may want to learn more about?
Are you a local expert in a particular topic?
Are you interested in gaining an excellent professional development opportunity?

Then presenting at the Meeting of the Minds Conference is for you!

Meeting of the Minds: Networking for Success in Prevention is a regional conference dedicated to assisting students and professionals network and learn more about effective prevention strategies and student health issues. Students and professionals working in peer education, prevention, student affairs, or law enforcement from colleges and universities in the five-state area are encouraged to present about their work at this exciting conference!

Please consider sharing a best practice, educational program, or current research in a conference presentation.


Please submit your proposal by February 19th via the on-line system. We will notify the presenters of their acceptance beginning February 26th.

Deadline: Friday, February 19th, 2010.

The Call for Programs link is now live and accepting program submissions for the conference! Please consider presenting at the conference and sharing the great work that you are doing. This year, we would love to see submissions in these suggested areas:

Programs are encouraged in all areas related to peer education, alcohol, other drug, and violence prevention, higher education, problem gambling, and suicide and mental health. Student peer educators, advisors, health educators, faculty, staff, law enforcement, coalition members, and others are encouraged to apply!
